The Bennett Family Foundation focuses its grantmaking primarily on smaller, local organizations that address specific needs of underserved populations in the communities where the family members of the Foundation live and work:  Boston and Philadelphia.

  1. Philadelphia grants are both local and global in scope, and focus on:

  3. ‣ basic medical, skill-building and housing support

  4. ‣  community-building programs

  5. ‣  human environmental issues

  6. ‣  greening programs

  1. Boston grants are local, and focus on helping disaffected teens, concentrating on:

  2. ‣  mental health care

  3. ‣  supportive services

  4. ‣  opportunities for re-engagement

  5. ‣  research into best practices
